BOSTON — The easy way out for the Buffalo Sabres would have been to blame the kid for their second straight loss. Rookie goaltender Jhonas Enroth gave up a goal on the first shot he faced in the NHL. He allowed three on his first 13 shots and spent most of his debut scrambling around the crease.

Kristine LaPaglia and Kathleen Majeski know each other like sisters. They coach the same club field hockey team during the offseason and are the first to congratulate each other at game's end. So it's no surprise that Saturday's Class A sectional championship between LaPaglia's unbeaten Williamsville North squad and Majeski's scrappy Lancaster team held no surprises.
